The model allegedly checked Tiger's phone after the golfer had taken his prescription sleeping medication and fallen asleep. She engaged in a messaging conversation with Rachel. While pretending to be Tiger, she texted the nightclub hostess, "I miss you," followed by, "when are we seeing each other again?"
According to the New York Post, Rachel responded immediately. Elin called the woman to let her know she was the one sending the messages and that she knew something was going on between her and her husband. Elin was devastated, allegedly chasing Tiger out of their home with a golf club that night.

One of the biggest questions people had about Elin and Tigers' divorce was about how much money the model would be getting. Since Tiger's cheating nullified the prenuptial agreement, Elin's lawyers were free to renegotiate how much the model would get in the divorce settlement.
In Truth, Elin was on the fence about leaving Tiger until April 2010. According to the New York Post, she was deeply affected when hearing about the identity of one of Tiger's mistresses who came forward. The woman, named Raychel Coudriet, was the daughter of the couple who lived next door to Elin and Tiger. She was only 14 when she first met the golfer.

Elin took time to heal and move on after the traumatic ending to her relationship with Tiger. She lives in a $44.5 million home in Florida and began a career in the mental health field. She obtained her Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern license in 2018. Soon after, she registered her own business, EN Therapy LLC. While her therapy company is no longer running, her registered health counselor intern license is not set to expire until September 26, 2023.
In October 2019, Elin welcomed her first child with former NFL player Jordan Cameron. The couple remains out of the spotlight but reportedly are still together as of November 2022.
The model has almost managed to turn her divorce settlement into nearly $200 million. Through savvy investing, as well as multiple investment properties paying off, Elin turned into quite a business woman.
Elin and Tiger have even found a way to co-parent their children and become friends again. The golfer has gone on record calling his ex his best friend multiple times since their breakup.
