Tiger Woods Refused To Comment On Donald Trump's Golf Skills Given That He Wasn't A President At The Time Of The Interview
It was a rare appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for Tiger Woods in October 2016. As expected, the interview was very entertaining. Among the topics of conversation included Tiger discussing what it was like playing alongside past Presidents. In some cases, Woods didn't elaborate, but he still gave his assessment.
Among one of the best he ever played with was George H. W. Bush. Tiger said, "Fast. Good golfer. Yes, we play in about under two hours." As for Bill Clinton, Woods simply said, "Lots of cuts." While Barack Obama was "Competitive and straight."
At the very end, Colbert brings up Donald Trump's name, but Woods gives a unique answer to avoid the question. He says, "You said Presidents..."
Fans had a blast with the moment, and it received a big reaction from the audience.

Tiger Woods Purposely Deflecting A Question May Have Indicated How Close His Relationship Is To Donald Trump
Tiger Woods and Donald Trump have had an interesting relationship throughout the years.
It wasn't the first time Woods refused a Trump question. He also did so at the Northern Trust tournament. Woods was asked about Trump being in power. To which he replied, "No. I just finished 72 holes and (am) really hungry," he added.
Although, Woods did reveal in the same interview that he played golf with Trump in the past. "We've played golf together. We've had dinner together. I've known him pre-presidency and obviously during his presidency."
Donald Trump Also Refused To Answer A Question During His Interview With Stephen Colbert
Stephen Colbert is very familiar with guests refusing to answer his questions. The same held true for Donald Trump during his rare appearance on the Late Show, one we'll never see again.
At the time, Barack Obama's birth certificate was a hot topic. Colbert asked Trump about his allegations toward the former President, but it seemed like Donald was "over" the alleged issue.
Trump said at the time, "I don't talk about it anymore. I talk about jobs. I talk about our veterans being horribly treated. I just don't discuss that anymore."

Stephen Colbert's "Intense" Religion Debate With His Celebrity Guest Resulted In One Of The Best Late Show Interviews Ever
Stephen Colbert took the time to appreciate the points made by his guest, discussing a sensitive topic.
The rare interview between the two had many entertaining moments. However, Colbert revealed he wouldn't have Trump back on as a guest.
"Backstage, he's just like some guy you might meet at a club. I mean 'country club,' not like disco. He's very clubbish and he's kind of innocuous in a way. There's nothing particularly remarkable about him."
Colbert continues, "Then he puts on a persona for a camera, and the persona he gave me when he was on the show the first time was actually very quiet and very reserved."
"I did once. I wouldn't want to anymore," Colbert said. "He was actually kind of disappointing."
Although he was disappointed with Trump, the same didn't hold true for his chat alongside Tiger Woods.
Tiger Woods' Interview With Stephen Colbert Took An Emotional Twist When Arnold Palmer Was Brought Up
Tiger's interview truly had it all, and things also took an emotional twist when Arnold Palmer was brought up. Woods was emotional talking about his connection to the late golfer.
"He was one of my heros. We became great friends. Got a chance to win his golf tournament a few times. As I come off the green, to have him give me a great bear hug is something that will always be special to see that photo on the green of us chitchatting."
Woods would also add a great story of his time with Palmer during his earlier days as an amateur.
"I go and I pick his brain a little and I leave. My coach finds out, says did you pick up the tab if it's Arnold Palmer. I'm a college student. It's Arnold Palmer. So he says, well, I don't know about this. So he calls NC two As, three deem me ineligible. I had to write a check to Arnold Palmer for $25. I was at El Paso for the All American. He had to cash the check, send in a copy, and I was eligible to compete in the all American."
Great memories for Tiger.
