During the conversation, Chalamet fielded questions about his on-screen romantic chemistry with Zendaya, a focal point of the film's narrative. Initially responding with laughter when asked about whether filming intimate scenes felt natural or not.

“It’s not weird in the scope of the movie, but we have a joke here,” Chalamet replied. “I mean, I don’t wanna say it, I don’t wanna say the word here cuz, you know, but it’s just like… in another nature, it’s weird as hell! Because, like, we’re so close platonically, so it’s just the strangest part of the job.”
Describing Zendaya as a “close friend,” Timothee continued, “In the scope of the movie, it’s totally what is happening. I also feel like we’re so tight now, it really is just another day at work. I don’t know what that says about the nature of our jobs, but it’s just another day at work.”
During a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, Zendaya echoed a similar sentmiment, explaining that while filming such scenes could feel awkward, they were able to overcome it since it’s all a part of their job.
“It’s a little weird, no, definitely. It’s definitely strange, and I think both of us are just like, ‘Alright, this is our job, okay, we’re gonna do this, alright?’ And then cut!” Zendaya shared. “And then it’s right back to… you know what I mean. (Laughs) So, um, definitely.”

Timothee and Zendaya’s comments come after reports that his girlfriend Kylie Jenner has imposed strict rules for their relationship.
“First, Kylie wanted him to cut ties with all his exes, even the ones he still considers friends,” an insider alleged to Heat Magazine. “He’s dated a lot more people than anyone realises, including the likes of Lily Rose Depp and [Madonna’s daughter] Lourdes Leon. But Kylie’s suspicious of any women in his life, even those he works with.”
“Allegedly, Timothée has also given Kylie his social media passwords and shares his location with her 24/7,” they went on. “He’s obviously under her spell and jumps to her defence when his friends give him a hard time.”
