They married at the start of the '90s and the relationship last throughout the decade. However, in 2001, they officially split, a divorce fans and media did not anticipate.

Cruise has steered away from the topic since, Kidman on the other hand has briefly discussed it, rarely speaking badly about the experience.

“We would go go-kart racing after those scenes,” she recalled. “We’d rent out a place and go racing at three in the morning. I don’t know what else to say. Maybe I don’t have the ability to look back and dissect it. Or I’m not willing to," Kidman discussed with Us Magazine looking back at their time together.

Tom Cruise hasn't had the same approach to answering Nicole Kidman related questions and that was evident following an Aussie interview back in the day.

“Listen, here’s the thing, you’re stepping over the line now. You’re stepping over the line, you know you are.”

How Did The Fans React To Tom Cruise's 60 Minutes Interview?

The moment has over 9 million views on platforms like YouTube. It was quite the outburst and yet another viral moment from Tom Cruise.

Fans were indifferent when it came to Cruise's behavior on Oprah... however in this instance, most fans agreed with Cruise's reaction to the line of questioning.

"I honestly don't see anything wrong with almost anything he said at all. The interviewer did cross the line. Why would you question a man's life regarding his children and his ex wives? That's definitely inappropriate to ask someone especially in the tone and context of the former questions he basically called him a lunatic," one fan stated.

Another fan called it an attempt to try and know the Tom Cruise behind closed doors, something that has been attempted numerous times in the past by interviewers with an agenda.

"Let's be honest the interviewer did what interviewers always do and try and get some inside revelation and Tom shut him down like Tom was always going to do and there's nothing wrong with that, actors don't have to talk about their private lives if they don't want to its actually none of our business and he showed he was fine about it at the end of the interview."

Asking Tom about his personal life is never a wise decision...
