For context, Beckham's company, DB Ventures, recently took legal action against F45 Training, a fitness franchise in which Wahlberg has partial ownership. In his lawsuit, Beckham claims that he was deceived by F45, alleging in court documents that he was misled into entering an endorsement deal but never received the promised $10 million from the contract negotiations.

The soccer star claims he was assured of compensation in the form of stocks, yet these were never provided after the share prices seemingly plummeted.

Now, thanks to a resurfaced video, the conflict appears to have intensified and even dragged Cruise into the middle, as his appearance at Victoria’s birthday dragged up his own past feud with Mark.

In the 2013 video clip, which has been circulating online, Mark appears to criticize Tom for likening the experience of acting to that of serving in the military. Cruise's comment, captured in the clip, suggests that acting can sometimes feel as intense as being a soldier in Afghanistan, as he stated, "That’s what it feels like, and certainly on this last movie, it was brutal. It was brutal."

Wahlberg, however, vehemently disagreed with any comparison between acting and frontline military service. Mark expressing his views during a Q&A session in Los Angeles, held prior to a screening of his film Lone Survivor, in which he portrayed a Navy SEAL.

“For actors to sit there and talk about, ‘Oh, I went to SEAL training’ — I don’t give a f–k about what you did,” Wahlberg told the crowd. “You don’t do what these guys do. You just don’t. For somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as being in the military. How f–king dare you, while you sit in a makeup chair for two hours. I don’t give a s–t if you’re getting your ass busted.”

He then asked for no more questions to be asked while he calmed himself down, though he later backtracked and emphasized his comments weren’t directed at Cruise.

The video seemed to go viral given Tom’s attendance at Victoria’s party, with many fans believing it’s Cruise’s subtle way of showing support for the Beckhams, especially since reports from earlier this year suggested he was on tenuous terms with the famous British family (he allegedly tried converting them to Scientology, albeit unsuccessfully). However, Cruise hasn’t made any formal statements on the Beckhams, nor on David’s ongoing lawsuit.

Wahlberg’s legal team has responded to David’s claims, only to deny them. He seems intent on fighting back against the lawsuit.
