“This is when you’re going to start knowing, whenever this time comes, and you need to walk away,” Jason explained. “[It’s] the fighting your body, like you used to be able to do something you can’t do anymore. That’s when it’s like you’re fighting that, to continue to get that back. That’s when it starts to become hard. Bottom line is everyone knows when it’s time for them.”

As for when he knew it was right, Jason elaborated, “I just don’t think I could play it at the level I used to play it at. Even though people might disagree with that, I know it because I remember being out there last year not being able to execute the way I wanted to.”

Travis’ contract is good for two more seasons, so the Chiefs player isn’t going anywhere. As for when he sees himself retiring, Travis replied “I love playing this game at the highest level possible,” he said. “And I love playing it at a level where I know I can have a bunch of success.”

While Travis and Taylor have played coy about their future engagement plans, reports say the couple have had serious discussions. Travis has allegedly even agreed to a prenup, which Swift feels is a necessity given her billionaire status.

“There’s no question that she’ll have a prenup before she and Travis get married,” a source shared with Life & Style. “She can separate the finances from the relationship, and her team will make sure she does.”

“Travis has no problem signing a prenup because his business team wants to protect his assets,” they went on. “He’ll do whatever it takes. No doubt, it will be bulletproof. It may not be romantic, but it’s smart.”

Even if retirement isn’t on the horizon, Travis has been expanding his career opportunities from new paid collaboration to television hosting gigs. With his relationship with Taylor catapulting him into A-list status, there’s no telling where it’ll take him next.
