10 Lala Isn’t Her Real Name
Lala has always introduced herself as Lala. Then again, everyone on the show has nicknames so it's not uncommon to learn what their real names are. Just like Jax's real name isn't Jax (it's Jason), Lala's real name is Lauryn Kent.
The smalltown girl from Salt Lake City, Utah got the nickname when she was a child after kids started calling her "Loren." Not a fan of the pronunciation, she started being known as Lala.
9 Randall Gave Her A Promise Ring Before Getting Engaged
After dating on the down-low for a while, Lala and Randall Emmett finally came out as a couple once his divorce to Ambyr Childers was finalized. After seeing the two on camera and on social media, it was clear the two had a strong connection; so strong that Randall gave Lala a promise ring before the engagement ring.
Three months into their relationship, Emmett gave Lala a "ring before the ring" to prove he was committed to her. In 2018, the pair finally got engaged (where Lala got a new ring).
8 She Didn’t Always Get Along With Randall’s Ex
Randall was married Netflix's You actress Ambyr Childers from 2009 to 2017. The married couple had two daughters together but in 2016, Childers pulled the plug on their marriage.
With Lala getting involved with a man who was nearly separated and the father of two children, she was entering dangerous waters. Especially after posting pictures of Randall and Amber's daughters on social media. Ambyr reached out to Lala on social media to stop posting pictures of her kids. "Lala, I appreciate your love towards my children, but until you’re officially their stepmother please refrain from posting my children on social media!" she wrote on Instagram.
7 She’s Teamed Up With PETA
Lala can be pretty aggressive towards people she doesn't like or who treats her poorly but when it comes to animals, Lala is a softy. She teamed up with other Vanderpump Rules stars, Shena and Ariana, to protect the orcas at SeaWorld.
The three women went "nude for orcas" as they raised awareness for how poorly SeaWorld treats its marine wildlife, especially its wales. Seeing how strong of a voice Lala has, something tells us this won't be her last time joining PETA.
6 She Makes An Appearance In This Bravo Show
The newest franchise to join Bravo is The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The show is supposed to air in the fall of 2020 but it's been said that Lala Kent makes an appearance!
With Kent being from Salt Lake City, fans leaked photos of Lala partying with some of the housewives while they were filming. Fellow Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney was also in attendance. It will be interesting to see if Lala's appearance makes the cut when the season airs.

Lala has said multiple times that she was trying to get into the acting world. Meeting and dating Randall has helped her career but her acting roster is far more diverse than fans realize.

In Vanderpump Rules, Lala is always dressed incredibly and is up for a good time. Now that Lala is sober, she still goes out with her friends and parties with them. However, it's been noted that Lala seems to be changing her tune.
She's been tweeting about wanting to "be in bed all day" and that she's a "couch potato." When she's being lazy at home, Lala has tweeted that she loves watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians and that her favorite is Kris Jenner.
3 She’s Close Friends With This Popular Celebrity
One of the more random facts about Lala Kent is that she has a famous friend that fans wouldn't expect, David Spade. In an interview with Heavy, Lala said that aside from modeling, she's also been getting involved with acting.
She said, "David Spade is a close friend of mine, so he involves me in some of his fun projects." Kent continued saying, "Acting was never something I was truly passionate about. I’ve done a little here and there, but nothing dope."
2 She’s Not As High Fashion As You’d Think
After Lala started dating Randall, her fashion choices reached another level. She was wearing more eye-catching and expensive pieces that fans couldn't help but point out. But according to The Daily Dish, Lala doesn't care too much about high fashion.
"I am soooo not fancy. I don’t look at labels at all—If I like it I buy it. I’ll look at anything from Dior to Forever 21," the actress said. Like so many others, she also enjoys a good deal!
1 She Was Involved In The Faith/Stassi/Kristen Drama
During the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, Bravo had no choice but to fire Stassi and Kristen from Vanderpump Rules for previous actions against former castmate, Faith Stowers. However, it turns out Lala also had a part in the actions against Faith but the difference between Lala and the other women is that Lala apologized directly to Faith.
Stowers said, "I was hurt by all of them validly but when somebody reaches out personally like she did and apologizes—someone that actually knows me—that makes me feel good."
