Endorsement deals benefit both the brand and the celebrity they choose to be the face of their brand. Brands have to be particular with who they choose to promote their products because their likability is what will increase or decrease sales.

And while brands like Coca Cola, Nike, and Luis Vuitton have had plenty of celebrity endorsements over the years, there are other non-luxury brands that have fans scratching their heads as to why a certain celebrity would promote such an item. No one would think to put Ed Sheeran with ketchup or Post Malone with Crocs and yet here we are.
