Hyland is best known for her role on the television sitcom, Modern Family. Actress Julie Bowen plays her mother on the show, but she has an even bigger impact on her “daughter,” in one case in particular.
As per Daily Mail, Bowen shared with the Skimm Livestream audience, “Sarah Hyland's beau, Wells Adams, asked her permission to wed Hyland before their July engagement.”
Sounds like Adams must know how important Bowen’s opinion means to Hyland. The gesture must have impressed Bowen, and she gave Adams the go-ahead to pop the question.

Daily Mail notes that the couple had been dating close to two years before Adams proposed, and both spread the word on their Instagram accounts to let fans share in their happiness. Wells wrote, “I knew I was gonna marry her the 1st night I met her.”
