While Ben Stiller's wife isn't the most visible of celebrity other halves, she's clearly involved in her husband's career. In fact, she even got hit in the face with a dodgeball while working on the eponymous movie with her hubby.

On-set hijinks aside, fans think that Christine Stiller has to put up with a lot of nonsense simply due to being married to Ben. The bad news? It's not hilarious, Zoolander-esque nonsense.

Ben And Christine Stiller Almost Divorced Once

The story of Ben and Christine's almost divorce has been told before, and the sum-up is that they say the time apart made them realize they missed one another.

It's a short and sweet explanation of why they got back together, but there was never any explanation as to why they planned to divorce. There weren't official divorce papers, either.

The speculation that started when they initially announced their impending split in 2017 suggested that maybe Ben had stepped out on the marriage.

At the same time, some sources claimed Ben was the one who wanted to fix things and stay married, while Christine had been ready to walk away.

Either way, some fans of the couple don't think that Ben Stiller's wife is totally happy with him nowadays, nor do they think she really was, ever.

Fans Say An Anonymous Critic Gossiped About Ben Stiller

Anonymous "insider" stories and tips are nothing new. But it's now easier than ever to deduce who the celeb in question is when someone posts cryptic yet telling tidbits.

For example, one commenter said a celeb "had a tendency to be really difficult" but hinted that they own a production company and that their wife's reputation is basically glistening.

Those tips, and a few other details, had fans thinking the person was talking about Ben Stiller. Then, commenters chimed in with their own stories about Ben and the difficulties they say his personality poses to his wife.

Fans Say Ben Stiller's Wife Has Her Work Cut Out For Her

Commenters who thought that celeb dirt dealer Deuxmoi was talking about Ben Stiller had their own reasons for chiming in.

One person claimed that the description was "Definitely Ben and Christine. I know one of his former assistants and Ben is a terror."

Alright so what type of terror? Apparently, said the anonymous insider, Ben Stiller "was always kind to her," so their friend decided to work as his personal assistant when asked.

Formerly, the friend had worked for Ben Stiller's dad, and said the whole family was wonderful. Yet, soon enough, "he completely changed."

The story goes that as soon as Ben's assistant started working for him, he became "nasty," "rude," and treated her like "the help" even though she'd been friends with the family for a long time.

What's worse, said the insider, is that "Christine was wonderful and they were very close," so much so that when the friend decided to quit, Christine "BEGGED" her to stay.

What's even weirder is that after the assistant quit, things went back to normal and Ben was nice again, said the commenter.

What Is Ben Stiller's Wife Like Living With Him?

Whether or not the original Deuxmoi tidbit was about Ben Stiller, if the personal assistant story is true, Christine Stiller clearly has her work cut out for her.

If her husband treats the help like "the help" and is awful toward them, there's no telling how often the staff has to be replaced due to quitting or possibly Ben firing them.

That's not to say Christine is in charge of finding people to work for them, but as the Deuxmoi informant stated, the woman of the house was the interviewer in that case, so it's not too crazy to assume that the wife of a high-profile actor would vet the staff that could wind up working for their family or household.

Unfortunately, if Ben Stiller's wife really does have to put up with his awful antics when it comes to their staff, there might be other areas of their home life that get frustrating, too.

Either way, because Hollywood is so hush-hush about problematic A-listers, it's unlikely that anyone other than personal assistants have any dirt to offer.

Plus, they won't want to voice many concerns due to not wanting to lose their jobs. That is, unless they have lost their jobs already and want to spill the information for clout, or just to warn other people against potentially applying to work with people like Ben Stiller.
