Jennifer Aniston and Emma Roberts are both talented and funny actresses. When paired together, they are magnetic, and fans got to see the duo in action on the big screen in the 2013 film We're The Millers.
This film was comedy gold. Alongside both women, Jason Sudeikis, Will Poulter, Kathryn Hahn, Ed Helms, and Nick Offerman starred in the film. With a cast this stacked, it's not a surprise it made about $270 million.
But, once the cameras stopped rolling and the movie wrapped. What happened with Jennifer and Emma?
Why Jennifer Ainston Is 'Disappointed' In Emma Roberts
After the movie premiered, things seemed to be going well for the friends. However, that didn't last long.
When Roberts was 22, she was in Montreal, Canada, with her then-boyfriend, Evan Peters. But, when someone called the police after a fight between the two in their hotel room, Roberts was allegedly arrested for domestic violence.
TMZ reported that Peters had a bloody nose and bite marks. But, the bite mark claims have since been disputed by other sources. After being taken in, Roberts was shortly released, and no charges were pressed against the actress.
The pair released a joint statement after the incident and reiterated they wouldn't be separating. "It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding," reps for the couple told US Weekly. "Ms. Roberts was released after questioning, and the couple is working together to move past it."
However, in 2015 they officially called it quits after three years of being on-again-off-again and an engagement.

Showbizspy reported that Aniston was upset with Robert's "out-of-control behavior." A source close to the star said, "Jen totally disapproves of Emma's hard-partying and public blowups. She has even told Emma that unless she shapes up, she may not be invited back for a possible Millers sequel."
Furthermore, in 2014 Roberts made the news again for her behavior. She was seen trying to cut the line at the popular New York bakery Dominique Ansel.
The actress was seen being turned away by the bakery's doorman when she tried to skip the line to procure a cronut—half croissant, half donut. But, the actress later went onto Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to try and set the record straight.
"Today I went to the bakery to get a cronut, and I was like, 'oh my god, there's no line,' and I walk in, and they're like, 'Um, the line is actually down the block,'" She continues, "So I walked out and went to the end of the line and waited and waited, and then they were like, 'Sorry, there are no more cronuts. They were out of cronuts!"

It was also reported that Roberts supposedly had to be carried out of a nightclub in Michigan after partying and celebrating Hayden Panettiere's 21st birthday—her Scream 4 costar.
All these infractions have caused a strain between Aniston and Roberts, and it looks like things haven't improved.
When speaking to the HuffPost, Roberts said, "Jennifer Aniston is a genius. I've been such a fan of hers for so long, so to get to work with her was one of those dream come true, check-off-my-list kind of things that I've always wanted," She continues, "I think we all worked together really well. I think there was good chemistry between us, we became friends outside of work, so it translated well."
But that friendship seems to have come to an end, or at the very least become strained. Aniston has known Roberts since she was 12, so she is said to be disappointed with the star's behavior. "It is sad because Jen's been backing her career all the way. Jen's an old pro, and the crazy headlines about Emma and her diva behavior just don't sit well with her," a source close to Aniston said.
In 2019 the star began dating Garret Hedlund and announced her pregnancy in the same year. With the news of becoming a mom, she seems to have settled into her own. And in January 2020, the then-couple welcomed their child, a boy named Rhodes Robert Hedlund.
Roberts took to Instagram to announce the news sharing a photo of her child with the caption, "Thank you, 2020, for getting one thing right." The couple has since split, but Roberts is reportedly dating a new man, Cody John.
Aniston is yet to make a public statement on the birth of her child, and it is unclear if the pair have been in contact since she released her "disappointment" about Roberts.
