Dwayne Johnson Has Been Married Twice
Long before Johnson found Hollywood fame, he met his first love at the University of Miami. Back then, both he and Dany Garcia were college athletes and immediately bonded over their shared love of bodybuilding and strength training. After that, they became inseparable.
The two eventually tied the knot in May 1997. They also welcomed a daughter in 2001. Around the same time, Johnson was also gradually making the transition from a WWE star to a Hollywood actor.
Unfortunately, however, his marriage also started to fall apart. In June 2007, Johnson and Garcia confirmed that they were splitting up.
While their divorce would be finalized less than a year later, a new partnership between the former couple was also quickly born with Garcia taking over as the actor’s manager. The exes have also since become business partners.
Months after they announced their split, Johnson started dating music producer and performer Lauren Hashian. The two met while Johnson was filming his comedy, The Game Plan.
Johnson and Hashian had been together since then, and eventually had two daughters together. The happy couple later tied the knot in a wedding ceremony in Hawaii in 2019.
While Johnson’s relationship with his wife and ex-wife remains strong, another woman is claiming to have had an affair with the actor during his first marriage.
Robbin Young Says Dwayne Cheated On Dany Garcia
While Johnson and Garcia have always maintained that their split was amicable, one actress has claimed Johnson cheated on his ex-wife while they were still married. Back in December 2018, Robbin Young took to Twitter (now renamed X), claiming to have been intimate with the Jumanji actor in the early 2000s.
According to Young, she and Johnson first met in 2004 at the Tabu Lounge at MGM Las Vegas. After a long conversation, Young said that the actor invited her up to his suit at Mandalay Bay. She also said that their alleged “affair” began that night, even claiming that she has audio tapes that can prove her intimate relations with the actor.
The following year, in August 2019, Young doubled down on her claims. After it was revealed that Johnson and Hashian just tied the knot, she took to Twitter again to say that she hopes Johnson wouldn’t cheat on Hashian like he did to Garcia.
While Young has apparently since deleted that tweet, her correspondence with other users related to the post remains.
Among these is a comment from a user who called Young “bitter” about not being chosen by Johnson. In response, Young denied being bitter toward the actor while also disclosing some intimate details about her time with Johnson.
She also revealed that she had no knowledge of Johnson being married when they met, adding, “He should have told me so I could make the decision if I wished to commit adultery.”
Who Is Robbin Young, And What Is She Doing Now?
Back in the '70s and '80s, Young was an actress who memorably starred in the '80s comedies Thieves and Robbers as well as Night Shift. Young also had a small role in the TV series The Fall Guy. At the same time, the actress also had a minor role in director John Glen’s James Bond film, For Your Eyes Only, which stars Roger Moore as 007.
Now, actresses typically go through a rigorous audition process to be a Bond girl, but in Young’s case, she got her part as the “Girl in Flower Shop” after winning Playboy’s Search For a James Bond Girl.
The prize included a speaking part in Moore’s movie. In addition, Young also starred in a Playboy photoshoot for the movie. She also went on to grace several other Playboy pictorials over the years.
Young hasn’t done any onscreen work since the early '80s, although the actress has remained active on social media over the years, sometimes engaging in online relationships.
Just months before Young made her claims about Johnson, it was revealed that she had an online affair with a man nicknamed Guccifer 2.0. The user was revealed to be a Russian spy who hacked the Democratic Party in an attempt to interfere with the 2016 U.S. elections.
While the since-deleted Twitter account was eventually linked to 12 Russian spies, Young maintains that she only had an affair with one Romanian man from the group, even telling The Sun that the hacker had been “such a gentleman.”
Today, Young remains active on X where the actress recently announced the launch of an AI version of herself. More recently, she’s also teased about an upcoming project that is seemingly related to Playboy.
As for Johnson, the Hollywood A-lister has several projects in the works, including a sequel for Red Notice, San Andreas, and Jungle Cruise. He is also expected to star in the second installment of Fast X. To this day, Johnson has also never commented on Young’s claims.
