Ever since she started dating Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's name has been on the lips of many people and is constantly appearing in the media, whether for good or for bad reasons. But the truth of the matter is, only those who are closest to Meghan can really give insight as to what she is really like.

It turns out people who have worked closely with Meghan Markle have plenty to say, and some took to Reddit to discuss the Duchess and her personality.

Meghan Markle Has A Poor Relationship With The Media

It's very clear to anyone who reads any newspaper or who even goes on social media that Meghan isn't much liked within the media. In fact, some have accused her of manipulating the media behind the scenes, particularly in America.

This is mostly because they have accused her of portraying her sister-in-law, Kate, The Princess of Wales, as the "wicked sister-in-law," whilst portraying herself as the "victim."

However, it's also clear that Meghan doesn't have a good relationship with the British media, with Prince Harry coming to her defense and saying that the term 'Megxit' is "misogynistic" and that she has received racist abuse from various people within and outside the media.

People Who Have Worked With Meghan Markle Say She's Actually Nice

It will come as no surprise to anyone that the media often likes to portray certain people or things in a particular light to suit their own narrative. In some cases, their portrayal will be good, and in other cases, it will be bad. In Meghan's case, a lot of the press she has been getting in recent years has been bad.

In fact, it got so bad for her that she and Prince Harry decided to move away from the life they had made for themselves in the UK and moved their family over to the United States. While this seems to have been the best idea for them, this hasn't stopped the British media from reporting on their lives.

But despite the view on Meghan in particular that the press likes to show to the public, those close to her think differently.

In one Reddit thread, one user started it by asking those who have previously worked with Meghan, particularly those who have worked on Suits, what she is actually like.

The majority of the comments were very positive.

Many crew members who worked with Meghan on Suits commented that she was always really friendly on set and wasn't difficult to work with. They say that she never tried to make any of the scenes she was in drag on by demanding a lot of takes, which is something many crew members working in the industry have experienced with other actors.

There were even some comments by people who have worked in restaurants and shops who have served Meghan, and they also only had positive things to say about her. They said she was friendly and polite, with one user even commenting that she was trying to settle the group she was with down so the server could read out the specials on the menu so they could all hear it.

Another user also commented, saying that Meghan and her former Suits coworkers Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams had gone into the shop where she worked at. She said that Meghan was particularly polite and that she was asking for everyone's names and trying to include everyone in the conversations that they were having.

However, not all the comments were good. Some users pointed out that they believe Meghan to be a covert narcissist and said that she would be friendly and polite in public to create a good image for herself, but that they believe that she is completely different behind the scenes.

Another user also claimed to be a friend of someone who used to be friends with Meghan. She said that a lot of Meghan's friends weren't invited to her wedding to Prince Harry, in favor of them inviting celebrities that neither of them knew well.

Allegedly, Meghan's friends were furious about this, and that is why they are no longer friends with her. Whether positive or negative, however, Redditors' experiences can't be verified.

With the supposed fallout with her former friends and moving from the US to the UK and back to the US, there is often a lot of mystery surrounding who Meghan can count as her close friends. Especially with her life constantly being scrutinized by the media, she has to truly be able to count on the people around her.

It's believed that Meghan is still friends with her former Suits costars; Gabriel Macht and Jacinda Barretts were in attendance for her wedding to Prince Harry.

It's also believed that some of her other close celebrity friends include the likes of Serena Williams, Victoria Beckham, and Tyler Perry. She is also supposedly still BFFs with Jessica Mulroney, so clearly she still has a group of people who support her—and would likely agree with the positive sentiments of Redditors who claim to have worked with her.
