Here's a feud we never thought we'd see, then again, when it comes to Donald Trump, really anything is possible. As we've seen in the past, he really isn't afraid to speak out, especially when it comes to his use of Twitter. Heck, he got banned from the platform... an honor very few people hold...
The rivalry ignited on Twitter and we've seen Trump challenge lots of others celebs on the platform in the recent years. Kristen Stewart definitely isn't alone. Trump would bash the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, making the bold claim that Arnold basically destroyed 'The Apprentice' and didn't step down to leave the show, but was instead "fired" from the position.
Despite Trump's bold words, especially for those in the Hollywood realm, lots of actors and actresses have fought back in the past and that includes the likes of Stewart. We'll take a look at how she factors in and how she replied to Donald's harsh words.
In addition, we'll also feature the man in the middle at the time, Robert Pattinson, who was also asked to speak about the matter, years after the fact.
It definitely made for some compelling headlines, if anything...
Trump Has A Rocky Relationship With Actors
The feeling is that Donald, deep down, always wanted to make it into Hollywood, though directors and producers weren't willing to do the same. He doesn't have the greatest filmography and when he did appear in a film, it seems as though there was always a backstory.
Like when he appeared in 'Home Alone', it is said that Trump basically forced his way in, as they used the 'Trump Towers' for a scene in the film.
Actors have also felt a little weird when meeting Trump, suggesting that he talks about himself in the third person. In addition, Donald has a history of bashing countless actors, he called 'Empire' star Jussie Smollett a third-rate actor, "I didn’t hear that term until that third-rate actor in Chicago went out and he said, 'I was beaten up by MAGA country.' Can you believe it?" Trump said as the crowd booed."
His feud with Stewart was of a different variety and one few fans could've anticipated.
Donald Started The Feud On Twitter
Ah yes, another Twitter war, this one featuring a man in his 70s along with a woman barely into her 30s...
Trump would ignite a series of tweets, no, not just one, but actually a few.
His opinion on the matter was head-scratching and to this day, most fans are confused as to why he got involved in the first place, but here we are.
Let's look back at a couple of the tweets.
"Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again–just watch. He can do much better!"
"Lots of response to my Pattinson/Kristen Stewart reunion. She will cheat again–100 certain–am I ever wrong?"
"Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert."
"Robert Pattinson is putting on a good face for the release of Twilight. He took my advice on Kristen Stewart…I hope!"
"After Friday's Twilight release, I hope Robert Pattinson will not be seen in public with Kristen–she will cheat on him again!"
Yup, count them up, that's five tweets about the matter. Stewart would later issue a response.
Stewart Hit Back
According to Stewart, this problem started because of the fact that Trump is obsessed with her. At least that's what she made claims of alongside Variety.
"He was mad at me a couple of years ago, really obsessed with me a couple of years ago, which is crazy."
“At that point, he was just, like, a reality star. I had no reference. It wasn’t like really a thing. But in retrospect, somebody reminded me of that and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re right!’ He’s probably, like, going to tweet about this.”
Years later after the fact, Pattinson finally chimed in.
"I think there are so many different levels of it. Your identity exists on many different planes at the same time and they all can be quite different from each other. When he said that, it didn’t really mean anything."
To sum up, Pattinson clearly wasn't bothered, but Trump clearly was...
