At the height of The Simple Life’s success, it seemed like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie would be best friends for the rest of their lives. As it turns out, after Hilton and Richie suddenly had a falling out. In 2006, Paris Hilton was pulled over while driving a $500,000 Mercedes and she took a breathalyzer and failed. Arrested on the spot, Hilton was charged with DUI, her license was suspended, and she ultimately was sentenced to a $1500 fine and three years probation. Only a few months later, Hilton was pulled over while speeding with a headlight out. When the officer realized her license was still suspended, Hilton found herself in court again. Despite claiming that she thought she was allowed to drive to and from work, Hilton was sentenced to 45 days behind bars. When Hilton reported to jail, the paparazzi were there in full force and shot photos of a clearly scared Hilton crying. At that time, many people disliked Hilton enough to enjoy those photos which is pretty cruel.
