May 2024 will officially mark five years since The Big Bang Theory was last on television. Despite this prolonged absence of any new episodes of the acclaimed sitcom, the show has continued to grow in stature and reputation. This is evidenced in part by the success of Young Sheldon, the coming-of-age, spin-off sitcom revolving around Jim Parsons’ character, Sheldon Cooper.
Another indicator of just how popular Big Bang remains is the fans’ consistent obsession with the actors and their characters. In the wave of modern breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, for instance, followers of the Chuck Lorre series have been delighted by an AI reimagination of all the main BBT cast members as kids.
What’s more, the major Big Bang stars continue to rake in millions from reruns of the show, further proving the enduring nature of the beloved sitcom. While their success on TBBT will be difficult to eclipse, many of the cast members have gone on to achieve more awesome feats in the industry. Here is where to find some of their best work.
8 The Big Bang Theory Is Still Available On Multiple Platforms

When The Big Bang Theory premiered on CBS in September 2007, cable TV was still well ahead of streaming platforms. However, the show lived long enough to see a definitive change in the way the world consumes television, with most people watching their favorite shows via online streamers.
In the US, Big Bang was available on Netflix for a period of time after the series finale. This was until HBO Max acquired its rights in 2020. People in some other countries are still able to watch the show on Netflix, as well as other streaming and on-demand platforms.

Bialik and Parsons were both executive producers on the sitcom, with the former also starring in the titular role. As of October 2023, the first season of Call Me Kat is available to stream on Hulu and HBO Max, while all three seasons can be bought or rented from Amazon, Google Play or Vudu.

Cuoco and her team entered the final quarter of 2023 hopeful, but still not sure, whether their production would be renewed for a third season. Whatever happens, The Flight Attendant will at least always be a multiple Golden Globe Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards nominee.

Rauch was the first to have a go at it, when she voiced the famous part in Batman and Harley Quinn in 2017. According to TV Guide, the animated superhero film can be streamed on HBO Max or bought/rented from iTunes, Amazon or Google Play.
Cuoco took on the role in an even bigger way when DC Universe launched the series Harley Quinn in November 2019. After two seasons, the show also moved to HBO Max (later rebranded Max).

A lot of this behind-the-scenes work has also been in collaboration with her husband and professional partner, Winston Beigel.
In 2015, the pair penned the script for a sports comedy-drama film titled The Bronze. Rauch also portrayed the main character, a retired gymnastics bronze medalist Hope Ann Greggory. Another one of the Jersey-born star’s post-BBT projects is Night Court, which has been airing on NBC since January 2023.

While making his mark on the big screen in the aftermath of The Big Bang Theory, Kunal Nayyar has not totally abandoned television.
