The world is so serious these days. Each time we turn on the news, we're confronted with images and updates that do very little to uplift our spirits. Whitney Cummings changes all that with the very special comedic twist that she puts on everything she does. Known to be someone that speaks her mind, and never shies away from unfiltered content, fans have come to know that Whitney's posts contain a certain amount of shock value. They just didn't expect this....

Whitney's latest Instagram post is a video that is set to the Alanis Morissette song titled Thank You, and features a close up view of Whitney's face as she lies in a bathtub. It gets a bit eerie as the fresh-faced comedian lies flat back and seems to ever so slowly dip her face lower and lower into the water until it is nearly submerged. If you think this is a tad bit creepy, you're not alone. Many of her fans were left feeling very uncomfortable.

The Weird Video

She moves her head from side to side as her hair slowly glides through the water and across the screen in slow motion. Whitney's eyes look empty, and glazed over, and she looks almost as though she could potentially be sedated. She continued to sway absent mindedly as her face sinks deeper down into the water, and just before she goes under, the video comes to an abrupt end.

The lyrics of the song add to the creepy vibes, as Alanis belts out; "How 'bout getting off of these antibiotics? How 'bout stopping eating when I'm full up? How 'bout them transparent dangling carrots? How 'bout that ever elusive kudo? The moment I let go of it was the moment I got more than I could handle, The moment I jumped off of it , Was the moment I touched down. When paired with the caption, this slow-mo video made some fans highly uncomfortable. The caption read; "This vaccine can’t come soon enough 💙 @alanis"

The insinuation of self harm was hovering throughout the video, and many viewers found it to be deeply concerning. While some fans did chime in to say they enjoyed this post and were excited about the old school rock vibes she was throwing out, the majority of the comments expressed the level of discomfort that fans felt when they viewed this.
