Not every celebrity likes talking about their extended families. Late-night show host James Corden pretty much loves being in the limelight. The 42-year-old is multi-talented, which also ups his fame factor. He’s done everything imaginable, from being the co-writer of the comedy Gavin & Stacey to singing songs on his Carpool Karaoke segments with stars like George Michael. Additionally, Corden is a bit of a singing sensation himself, given that he’s featured on a Christmas record with singer Kylie Minogue. This guy is more than just a late-night host, he’s involved in every facet of the entertainment industry. It’s no wonder he’s as huge of a star as he is. While the late-night show host knows how to keep his finger on the pulse and stay relevant, he doesn’t talk too much about his family back home in the UK, especially his sisters. Wishing His Sisters A Happy Birthday
Fame and fortune doesn’t mean a lot to celebrities, especially when it comes to those they love. James Corden may be a huge late-night host with several hidden talents but his fame hasn’t made him lose sight of what matters most to him. The 42-year-old takes time out of his busy schedule to show love to his family and two sisters.
Back in May of this year, the The Late Late Night Show With James Corden host shared a sweet tribute on social media to honor his younger and big sisters Ruth and Andrea. “My life has been blessed with two incredible sisters. Andrea my big sister and Ruth (Rudi!) my younger. Today is Rudi's birthday. It's hard to describe to people who don't know Ruth how incredible she is. How she lifts everyone around her, and with her love and kindness and compassion is the person who makes lots of people feel safe in this world,” Corden wrote in the captions of his Instagram post. The late-night show host even shared a collage of childhood and present-day photos of him posing with his sisters. Additionally, the late-night host expressed that while he was homesick, Ruth’s birthday made him feel “connected to his parents and sisters.” James Corden clearly loves his family, especially his sisters.
A Sister’s Heartbreaking Reality
James Corden has a close relationship with his siblings and will more than likely come to his sister’s aid when they need him the most. Corden’s younger sister Ruth in particular, has been hit with some pretty hard news regarding her yearning to become a mother. On Nov 4th, The U.S Sun reported that the 38-year-old and her husband Matthew of ten years were forced to come to terms with being childless, after a doctor rudely told them that Ruth’s “old age and weight” inhibited them from conceiving.
Corden’s younger sister shared the terrible news on National Fertility Awareness Week and further explained an incident where suffered a miscarriage during her Honeymoon in 2013. Ruth admitted that the experience gave her “a false confidence” in her ability to reproduce. Additionally, Ruth’s pregnancy tests kept coming up negative for five years straight. Then in 2017, the 38-year-old received more bad news when a fertility doctor diagnosed her with PCOS after suffering from irregular menstrual cycles. Eventually, Ruth and her husband Matthew decided to stop trying last year. The couple has been working on living a childless existence and focused on other positives, such as buying a new home together. Ruth has even worked on herself by going to therapy. When asked if they’d consider IVF treatments, Ruth stated that she’s unsure she wants to “try her luck at having a successful pregnancy”, afraid that the procedure would fail. There’s no word yet on if Corden has commented on his younger sister’s heartbreaking story but we’re sure he’ll reach out to her.
A Family Of Entertainers
James Corden maybe a famous late-night host but that doesn’t mean his life is perfect. With his sister Ruth’s hardship, Corden proves that not every celebrity’s family is picture-perfect. Just like Corden, though, his sisters know how to keep the good times rolling. In fact, Ruth and Andrea tried their hand a few times at providing comedy relief just like their famous brother. The two sisters are currently collaborating over a new podcast called Finding The Funny With Ruth & Ange. The title alone sounds like it’ll provide loads of laughs and good times.
Additionally, Ruth and Andrea have already had their first trial-run at hosting and as it turns out, the two are hilarious. Apparently, comedy runs deep in James Corden’s family. During a segment of The Late Late Night Show With James Corden, the sisters providing coverage over the NFL football game between the Colts and Jaguars, sharing funny interactions with the players and fans alike. At one point, Ruth and Andrea go into the locker room where they attempt to speak with a few of the players—or at least those that are halfway dressed. The segment already has plenty of views on YouTube and for good reason. James Corden's sisters clearly have a future in the entertainment business.
