Not to confuse her with the other famous Peyton List, this Peyton List found fame on Disney shows Jessie and Bunk'd. It is a known fact that most Disney stars can sing as well as act, List is also an aspiring pop star. Through her work in music, TV, and modeling, the starlet has amassed an impressive $7 million net worth.
Her time at Disney without a doubt helped grow her career tremendously. However, as Peyton grew older, she wanted more mature roles. Further revealing, "Everyone grows up and stars new projects. Grateful for everyone who has ground up with me and will continue to."
Disney reportedly has weird rules that its stars have to follow and one of them is that the stars are pushed to be role models. Most viewers have high expectations for the stars too. That's something that many former Disney stars have rebelled against. For Peyton, staying true to herself takes priority.
In an interview with People, the star revealed, "When I was younger, I felt the need to not mess up or put something out there that was bad because a lot of parents would come up to me and say, 'You're my kid's role model!'"
"That's a big title and I realized as I got older, I can just be me, and if people want to follow along, fine. I like to think that my ideals and what I like are all positive. I like to lead with optimism. I don't think of it as any kind of pressure."
List joined the cast of Cobra Kai in the shows' second season. She brings Tory to life, in a way that only she would. She's the bad girl everyone loves to hate. Playing Tory is by far her most challenging role yet, breaking the Disney princess stereotype was a welcome change for audiences.
