The movie's official synopsis says "a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia, and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas."

For Netflix, Lindsay Lohan described Sierra Belmont (the character she plays) as "Extravagant. Temperamental. Glamorous." The actress added that she missed doing rom-coms. "It’s such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy, and I miss doing those kinds of movies," Lohan said.

The former Disney star admitted that one of the best parts about being back in front of the cameras was shooting all the stunt scenes. "All the stunt scenes were really fun for me because I haven’t gotten to do that much in a lot of my films," Lohan said. "[Like] flying off the hill, attempting to ski well and not doing it."

The other project, titled Irish Wish, is set to be released in 2023.

The actress hired an acting coach, and she revealed they have helped her improve her skills a lot.
