Vicki Gunvalson is easily one of the biggest names attached to the Real Housewives franchise, being one of the first Housewives stars to be cast back in 2006 when the Real Housewives of Orange County first aired.

Following 13 seasons of being a full-time Bravo star, Vicki Gunvalson was demoted to a "friend of" for the 14th season of RHOC, a decision that she certainly did not take lightly. This marked Vicki's final appearance on the series, making us all wonder what exactly happened and whether the OG of the OC would ever return?

Why Did Vicki Gunvalson Leave 'RHOC'?

Vicki Gunvalson has always claimed to be the front runner of the Real Housewives, however, she is no longer part of the show that started it all. After being demoted to a "friend of" in season 14, Vicki announced her departure for good, however, it turns out, she was fired!

Vicki revealed that she was deeply hurt over her firing, particularly because of how long she had been part of the franchise. Vicki went on to blame her departure on one of the RHOC producers with whom she doesn't get along with.

According to RealityBlurb! Vicki had said that “There is a producer that’s currently on this cast, the last two years, that does not like me,” she said. "I think he’s a snake in the grass...So he and I had it out and I’m sure he probably said ‘she’s a problem, let’s get rid of her,’ you know?"

Will Vicki Return Amidst RHOC's Low Ratings?

Despite a few new faces and the return of former RHOC cast member, Heather Dubrow, it seems as if the show has reached some of its lowest ratings.

During the season 16 finale, fans called out Andy to bring back both Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge to the show, both of whom were let go around the same time.

"Bring Tamra Judge & Vicki Gunvalson back! This finale is second-worst ever after season 15. Like? What is going on? We haven't had a good finale since both were full-time," @realityTVguru13 tweeted out.

Vicki Gunvalson didn't waste any time before revealing that she would, in fact, be willing to return. "I'm ready!!" she replied in a tweet.

Vicki Will Appear On 'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip'

Although she may no longer be part of the RHOC, Vicki didn't leave Bravo for good. After announcing that Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip would be returning for a second season, it was shared that Gunvalson would be participating.

Vicki will be joining an array of former Housewives stars including Jill Zarin, Brandi Glanville, Taylor Armstrong, and Dorinda Medley, to name a few. So, the OG of the OC will be returning to our screens one way or another!
