Young Sheldon Season 7, Episode 8 Sets The Stage For Georgie To Become Dr. Tire
Georgie's Big Bang Theory appearance in season 11, episode 23, "The Sibling Realignment," informs viewers that adult Georgie is the founder and owner of a chain of tire stores called Dr. Tire. While much of Georgie's time as a teenager on Young Sheldon paints him as the dimwitted country boy who dropped out of high school, the eldest Cooper kid has always been a hard worker.
Meemaw's arrest and shutdown gambling room also meant Georgie was out of a job. During Young Sheldon season 7, episode 8, the Cooper's toilet becomes unusable, forcing the family to use a porta potty in the backyard, but Georgie, Mandy and baby CeeCee ultimately decide to move in with Mandy's parents.
Mandy's mom, Audrey, isn't too thrilled with Georgie's participation in the illegal gambling room or his lack of a new job, and she makes it known. And though Mandy's dad, Jim McAllister, sees Georgie without a job and wants to help out his son-in-law, Audrey refuses.
However, Georgie goes out of his way to please Mandy's mom and get her to like him, which he begins to do by the end of the episode, leading Jim to offer Georgie a position working with him at his tire store - thus the big connection to Georgie's Dr. Tire business in The Big Bang Theory.
